EVANGELISM: is the announcement, proclamation, and/or preaching of the Gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4), the good news of and about Jesus Christ.

As a Bible based church we know we are called to go out and spread the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST to all the souls. For we know His coming is soon and we must spread the good news to all so that they may encounter who He is!

We are called to be MESSENGERS OF THE GOOD NEWS!

As Matthew 28:18-19 says:

"And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit"

We have been given authroity through Jesus Christ to go and make disciples and spread the Word of God!

As Luke 4:18 says:

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the broken hearted; to proclaim liberty to the capitives and recovery of sight to the blind; to set at liberty those who are opressed..."

WE HAVE BEEN ANOINTED TO:

PREACH the Gospel to the poor
HEAL the broken hearted or any physical sickness (James 5:14-15)
PROCLAIM liberty to the captives (all who are lost, hurt and without an identiy of who they truly are in CHRIST)
RECOVERY of sight to the Blind!! (Psalm 103:2-3)
SET AT LIBERTY those who are opressed!
